  • Cigarette addiction

Cigarette addiction is considered as one of the global causes of preventable death, and slow the rate of smoking has become a priority for physicians. Fortunately, it turns out that the administration of cannabidiol (CBD) helps with the management of withdrawal symptoms for smokers who want to quit smoking.

  • Arthritis

Cannabis compounds have proven to be a very effective treatment of both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

  • Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

People have believed for years that cannabis could be effective in treating PTSD. Now it seems that is the mainstream: The US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) in April approved a clinical study to combat the effects of this disorder. Meanwhile, patients with PTSD have been telling us all the time that cannabis is what worked best for them.

  • Glaucoma

Glaucoma is a disease of the optic nerve which can often result in blindness. Cannabis use – particularly through oral intake – has been found to lower the pressure in the eye. However, despite the initial optimism, more studies on the effects of cannabis in patients with glaucoma have been encouraged by medical professionals.

  • AIDS / HIV

Although not offered as a “cure” for HIV / AIDS, cannabis has been shown to be effective in treating the symptoms, which include nausea, loss of appetite and anxiety.

  • Alzheimer’s disease

While a great deal of research has not yet been completed in this regard, previous scientific studies suggest n that treatment with cannabinoids may provide symptomatic relief – as well as a decrease in “progression of Alzheimer’s disease.

  • Headaches

OTC medications can be effective in treating headaches; However, many of these common counter treatments – such as Aleve and Tylenol, among others – can lead to a deterioration in the stomach lining. Cannabis, on the other hand, has been found which is a potentially effective natural treatment for headaches, including migraines.

  • Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)

The CBD – one of the main compounds of cannabis – has shown that it can combat anxiety and regulate effectively. This could prove to be a game – changer for those living with the effects of this disorder.

  • The multiple sclerosis (MS)

MS is a degenerative disease affecting the central nervous system and, ultimately, can cause permanent disability or even death. While the study with the disease continues, people are finding that cannabis is an effective measure of relief for patients suffering from multiple sclerosis.
